Direx
Direx is a company dedicated to medical technology with more than 25 years of experience. Its new image reinforces the concepts of quality and technology applied to the medical sector.
Its brand design is mainly based on typographic work, the characters of the word Direx have been ‘drawn’, making them extremely legible and the relationship between the glyphs to create a unit.
The lettering gives the word itself an entity and meaning, a Sans Serif typeface is created which gives it a modern character, with geometric features that show quality, professionalism and technology. But in contrast, its angles and vertices are softened, providing a friendly and approachable image within the seriousness.
The graphic part of the brand is introduced on the D: its inner hollow is eliminated and it is lengthened to create a ‘screen’, in which a line draws the pulse of an electrocardiogram.
The set is completed with the claim ‘Technology for Medicine’, which explains the company’s field of work.
BEFORE
AFTER
When we talk about technology associated with medicine, almost all of us associate the ‘machines’ of a hospital with that beep, beep, beep that seems to be a symbol that everything is going well and our heart is working. The drawing that makes that pulse in the form of the normal functioning of the heart is used both to give the medical point to the brand, and later as an element to illustrate the graphic applications of the brand.
