30 years of baking tradition in Las Cruces has taken another step forward with the creation of this website.
A tradition that began with Florinda García who made spelt bread with her family’s traditional recipe in her tavern located in the village of Las Cruces in Belmonte de Miranda, in 1994 Nieves González took over by opening Las Cruces Bakery to commercialise a type of bread that was only consumed and produced in a traditional way in the homes of the area and in 2017, the 3rd generation of the family formed by her nieces, took over to go a step further and offer and distribute this special bread to all of Spain via the internet.
This website takes us through the history of this bread and the family that keeps it alive, shows us how it is made and, of course, allows us to buy the whole range of its artisan products: 100% spelt bread, wheat and spelt bread, chorizo bun, sweet bread roll and hazelnut and walnut roll.
The quality of the photographs taken by Senyfoto allow us to see the quality and craftwork of the products.
Thanks to technology, today we can buy and taste bread with centuries of history from a smartphone.
