Home! espicha
Home! espicha® is a new format to distribute and enjoy Asturian natural cider. Until now, enjoying espicha cider meant travelling to a cider mill or making room for a 150 litre pipe. This new model makes it possible to enjoy an espicha at home with family and/or friends.
This innovative product development is part of the Sidrafías exhibition, which features 10 graphic, digital or volumetric pieces that show the particular vision of each Asturian designer on the world of cider today or their proposals on how design can help or influence it.
It has a manageable size, which allows it to be placed on the kitchen counter, on a table or anywhere. And it weighs almost half the weight of the bottles it is equivalent to.
It has been designed in such a way that it can be refilled, the first time we buy the complete ‘barrel’ and then we only have to buy the refills (made of recycled and recyclable material). Even if we plan to have a long party, we can have several ‘refills’ ready. The size of the refill even allows you to keep it in the fridge or in a bucket with water so that it is nice and cool before consumption.
The aim of the exhibition is to participate as an Asturian meeting point on the current situation and the horizons of cider culture. To open a dialogue for reflection on where it comes from, where it is and where it is going.
