«Marino Gutiérrez Suárez Awards are intended to distinguish companies, public or private entities and/or individuals who have stood out in a remarkable way throughout their life, or on the occasion of a singular, outstanding and/or exceptional event, all of which are aimed at the promotion, progress and/or dissemination of the Cuencas del Alto Nalón and/or the Caudal, as well as the improvement and quality of life of its inhabitants, in any of its multiple cultural, labour, business, charitable or welfare facets».

This is a corporate portal focused mainly on Marino Gutiérrez Suárez Awards.
Each year the foundation gives 4 awards to people, companies or entities that stand out in:
• The care of natural resources, autochthonous flora and fauna, the recovery and protection of historical, cultural, artistic and gastronomic heritage, and traditional trades and crafts.
•To promote the social welfare of the Principality of Asturias, carrying out humanitarian actions, with altruism and selflessness.
•To promote the development of the Principality of Asturias, carrying out business, training or infrastructure actions.
•To have a positive impact on our Autonomous Community as a projection of it, a source of wealth, tourist attraction, business, cultural or sporting promotion, without forgetting the defence of progress with solidarity, ethical and human values, harmony and peace, which Marino Gutiérrez Suárez showed and projected during his fruitful life.
