Langreo Town Council’s stand at FIDMA centres on the iconic Talleres del Conde, now transformed into a multi-purpose venue that aims to make culture a driving force for Langreo. This refurbished space will host concerts, performing arts, exhibitions, fairs and all kinds of activities.
Under the slogan “Cultural Factory, Talleres del Conde. It’s yours, it’s ours”, the pavilion takes visitors on a journey through the history of Talleres del Conde: from industrial heritage to Cultural Factory.

Inside, three exhibition panels with meticulously designed graphics, crowned by the spectacular dome of the Talleres del Conde – three-dimensional and backlit – take visitors on a historical journey leading up to this new phase as a cultural centre open to the public. There is also an explanatory video about the complex, a three-dimensional model, a photo booth that transports us straight onto the stage, and an interactive area where visitors can leave ideas and suggestions for this space.
Part of the pavilion is also set aside for cultural exhibits, such as a photographic exhibition organised in collaboration with the Asemeyando Association and the C.A.I. Occupational Centre in Pando to mark the Centre’s 35th anniversary.
