Iberian Guarro Days
A gastronomic event dedicated to Iberian pork should focus on the main protagonist. The design is based on those “the most wanted” posters, where the drawing of the portrait of the outlaw was the protagonist.
In our case, the most desired product is the prized meat of the Iberian Pig (or “guarro” as we know it colloquially). To show this idea, an illustration is created as an engraving of the pig’s face and a letterpress style typographic work is carried out, to print on offset paper in only two inks, corporate orange and graphite black, which accentuate the idea of the engraving in the classic movable type signage.
At the time of illustration, all the morphological details of the breed are taken into account, such as its characteristics, and unusual in other varieties, drooping ears over the “mug”.
