Wind Farm Signage
Signage for the Cordel and Vidural Wind Farm, promoted by the company IBERDROLA, which is located in the mountain range between the towns of El Vidural and Brañúas, occupying land belonging to the councils of Navia, Valdés and Villayón.
This signage aims to highlight the cultural elements present in the area, an archaeological heritage site that notably includes Roman hydraulic engineering remains.
Infographics depicting the construction of a tumulus and photographs of archaeological digs meticulously illustrate the seven panels, helping visitors pinpoint the location of each archaeological landmark.
The signs were printed directly onto Trespa board and varnished for UV protection, making them suitable for a highly demanding environment.
Securing them with perpendicular steel rods embedded in concrete footings and using side posts made of pressure-treated wood was essential to withstand the wind and ensure their long-lasting durability.
