Rioseco Water House

The Water House in Rioseco has added a new resource for understanding the value of water and river ecosystems: a large-format mural that combines illustration, lighting, and digital interaction.

We designed an exhibition that makes the most of the available space and organizes the content in a clear, visual, and accessible way for all audiences.

The project is structured around four backlit explanatory panels that address different aspects related to rivers: their composition as dynamic ecosystems, the benefits they provide when well-preserved, the threats that affect their balance, and the role of the Cantabrian Hydrographic Confederation in water protection.

The installation is complemented by two interactive screens that enhance the experience with digital content and an educational game. The result is a direct and engaging educational tour, designed to transform a thoroughfare into an attractive, functional, and permanent learning space.
