Basic Calendar 2026
A little slice of nature in the office. This calendar began as a small gesture: the gesture of pausing. Pausing to look at the landscape around us, to recognise what defines us, and to celebrate the everyday through design.
Through 12 trees native to the Asturian landscape and phrases handed down through the oral tradition in our mother tongue, each month highlights a species that forms a silent part of our collective memory: of the countryside, the hills, the kitchen, the language and the seasons. The die-cut trees form a forest and also illustrate the passing of the seasons through colour, as the sheets representing the months of the year are changed and layered.
Functionality and a sense of belonging to the local area come together in this piece, which invites you to watch the days go by in tranquillity.
