Cutlery Museum of Taramundi
After 10 years of operation as a cultural space for the dissemination of the ‘cuchilleiru’ trade (cutler) and its importance in this region, and based on the discovery of new historical data, the finding of new pieces and, above all, the expansion of knowledge and experience acquired by its promoters, it became necessary to improve and update the contents, museography, signage and communication of this cultural space
Created in its day in an almost artisanal way, we have intervened to professionalize the space and create a museum that lives up to its contents. The project was carried out in several phases in which we tackled the graphic identity, the distribution of the spaces, the routes, the design, layout and production of the graphics of the exhibition panels, the exterior and interior signage, etc.
The main building of the museum is a traditional house located in the village of Pardiñas, 1 km from Taramundi. Due to the age and characteristics of the building, we adapted to its space to design the distribution of the exhibition elements and the circulation of the visit.

Other areas to visit in the area include the forge, workshop, hydraulic mill and giant knife, all of which have explanatory panels.
