Orbayu Gin
Bottle, labelling and packaging design for PaquiGin’s first distilled gin, a “London dry” type spirit in which the nature and essence of Asturias are represented.
This gin is presented in a truncated cone-shaped bottle with a frosted finish that emulates the fine raindrops of the orbayu characteristic of Asturias. It is made of recycled glass in the line of protection and respect for the environment that identifies the brand.
The bottle is labeled to show the purity of the product at all times. A front label in the shape of the raindrop anagram is used as the main label and a second back label is used to contain the relevant product information. The neck of the bottle is surrounded by a label including the anagram. Finally, the cork, made of wood, will also be screen-printed with the anagram.
Finally, two types of boxes are designed, individual to facilitate shipments by internet and 6 units for storage. For the individual box, there is also the possibility of making two versions (positive and negative) that will expand the range without any difference in cost.
On the label, the raised granary logo is embossed in copper to create a contrast between tradition and modernity. The logo and the anagram on the front are printed in white Braille ink which gives them relief and makes them stand out.
