Asturias is one of the most densely forested European regions with the greatest environmental diversity. For this reason, this document is of vital importance to organise the policies that affect a large part of the community’s surface area.

The graphs and tables that appear throughout the sections of the book use the colour tables and resources developed in the new image of Asturias Forestry and created within this same project.
This 95-page book meets the needs of biodiversity conservation and economic development and territorial cohesion of the forest resources of the Principality of Asturias.
The formal and scientific content of the book and the importance of exemplifying it visually, make photography take centre stage, illustrating the technical document to make it easier to read. Having a professional like Paco Rocha, the full collaboration of the Forestry Service of the Principality of Asturias, some of the main protagonists (the Asturian forests) and favourable seasons (spring and autumn), allowed us to create a photographic archive that is an example of this Natural Paradise in which we live.
